For fashion designer Emily E. Green, feeling connected to the things one purchases and wears is not only a firm belief, but also a personal and professional way of life.  A self-proclaimed fashion anthropologist, Emily studies the development of her handmade creations from beginning to end.  From the sourcing of natural materials, to how the accessories are handmade, to the ethical treatment of those who make the pieces, Emily is deeply involved every step of the way.  Collaborating closely and in-person with Peruvian artisans in South America, Emily is present in Peru for the design process and material selection, and the production process and fair treatment of all the artisans involved.  In this way, she creates a personal connection and global awareness, that she hopes will pass along to all who wear her products.  Emily is based in Austin, Texas.
