Marpa Eager Design

Joining together his stories of friendship, passion for design, and world travel, Marpa Eager, began his journey in 1999 and currently continues his commitment to bring handcrafted jewelry to the marketplace. In conjunction with artisans and craftspeople in Northern Thailand, they collaborate on traditional designs juxtaposed into contemporary looks. Each piece is handcrafted with pearls, semi-precious stones, and beads, and hand knotted onto silk imported from Japan and waxed cotton. These decidedly unique looks created by nature and artisans, are often started in Marpa’s very urban New York studio and completed in the mountainous regions of Northern Thailand.
